Daily Fishing Report:

“Top Cabo fishing charters” and a time you and your family will not soon forget. That’s what we offer here at Picante Sportfishing the best captains, boats, and crew around. Because when it comes to fishing Cabo San Lucas, none have the experience that Picante Sportfishing has, and none can put you on the fish like we can.

As the month progressed we started to see increase the numbers of Tunas that we were seeing were all in the 15-30 pound most have been hooked on cedar plugs, but all sorts of lures seem to be working too.

This week we also saw a nice 30+ pound Wahoo, Striped Marlin and Sierras Mackerel, the fishing was up and down and we think it´s more for the weather than the fishing, we had some winds days but always Picante crew find the best spots for our anglers.

Tuna

We’ve been finding tuna by La Herradura around 20 miles out, and on the pacific sided by San Jaime Bank around 35 miles out  about 10 miles. Most fish are weighing between 15 and 30 pounds. Most boats are getting between 2-6 strikes.

Striped Marlin

We’re finding striped marlin in various spots but we’ve had the most luck by the Golden Gate Bank. We had the most success trolling live but bait and casting live bait when we see them on the surface.

Wahoo

We were starting to see a few Wahoo and this week we had one 30+ pounds and we’ve had the most luck with lures, and live bait.

Inshore Fishing

Our Picante crew found a school of Sierras Mackerel by Santa Maria so if you’re not wanting to try your luck offshore, you can definitely have some fun within the bay or just off the point.

*We going to start this report with “Salsa” our most popular boat a 35ft CABO Express release 3 Striped Marlin by Golden Gate Bank.

Cisco a 35ft CABO Express boated 2 Yellowfin Tuna by Golden Gate Bank and 16 Sierras Mackerel by Santa Maria and released one Striped Marlin.

Picante Expresso our 31ft CABO Express boated 6 Yellowfin Tunas by La Herradura and one Wahoo and released one Striped Marlon and Express., our faster boat the 32ft CABO Express boated 3 Yellowfin Tuna.

Picante a 40ft Tollycraft boated 2 Yellowfin Tunas by La Ballena, our premier vessel the Picante 45 a 45ft CABO Express boated 3 Yellowfin Tuna.

And finally our new baby “Caliente 45” a nice red 45ft CABO Express they release 2 Striped Marlin and boated 29 Yellowfin Tuna.
