Weekly Fishing Report:
Again this week we started off with a closed port on Monday due to windy conditions. As annoying as the wind can be it is bringing the warmer water in and around our amazing Cape, which will bring the species we are looking for. The rest of the week just got progressively better as we went along. By the weekend we were running on all cylinders, with 100% success on Friday and 80% on Saturday. All of the species that have been missing decided to show up at the same time. We saw Yellow fin Tuna, Dorado, we have not seen any Dorado for quite some time so that was a promising sign, Some Wahoo, and Striped Marlin were on the bite and steadily improving as we head towards the end of May. Next week looks very promising for sure
Total Weekly Catch: | 16 Striped Marlin, 15 Dorado, 15 Yellow fin Tuna, 4 Wahoo, 5 Rooster Fish and a Shark for good measure. |
