August 2021 Fishing report
August is characterized by good fishing in the Cabo waters, it is an exciting summer month because the first blues are seen, however this month the wind and storms hindered the fishing excursions a bit because the port was closed a couple of times. However, the Picante fleet had its second Blue marlin of the season, in addition to three beautiful Sailfish released in anticipation of the long awaited tournament fishing season.

Flags for Marlin, yellowfin tuna, wahoo and dorado aka mahi are bragging by the crew…raising the flags on the boat after the fishing is a public announcement of your catch or released and a sign of success to other boats, anglers and visitors in the Cabo San Lucas marina. So if you want to get an idea of what is biting during your visit, look at the flags of the boats in the docks.
