FISHING REPORT - February 2023 - Picante Sportfishing

The best bait/lure was live bait caballitos & mackerel and lures
The best fishing spots this February were: Golden Gate, Herradura, Cerro blanco and Faro.
Inshore fishing was good for Roosterfish and Sierra.
March Inshore fishing looks great for Sierra, Skipjack, Snapper and Grouper, all good for the plate!

Today’s Date: March 3rd, 2023

Picante Dream crew and clients released 10 Striped Marlin and loaded 5 tunas and 6 dorado plus some skipjacks.
The 35’ Cabo Express Salsa released 9 Striped marlin, one more Roosterfish for the count and 7 Dorado.
Picante Pride, 36’ had a great Roosterfish fishing month, they released 7 Rooster and 15 Striped Marlin. They also loaded 10 Dorado and 5 Yellowfin tuna.




The Picante 40’ Tollycraft released 8 Striped marlin and caught 2 Yellowfin tuna, they also boated 8 nice Dorado for dinner.
Picante 45, Cabo Express 45 ft released 10 Striped Marlin, and landed 2 Tuna and 12 Dorado.
Caliente 45, Cabo Express 45 ft released 10 Striped marlin, and boated 2 Tuna and 10 Dorado.
The average weight of the Dorado this february was around 15-25 lbs
