July´s Cabo fishing report: Sailfish, Striped and Tuna

Dorado and wahoo are still outhere and we expect it to last through the summer, we also had the first Blues of the season.
The best bait/lure was Caballito and live mackerel.
Some of the best fishing spots this month were at Cortez side, 95 spot and El Faro.

31’ CABO Express Picante Expresso released 8 Striped marlin, they also boated 8 nice Yellowfin tuna, 6 Dorado and release 1 Sailfish. Inshore fishing was good and fun for Triggerfish.
The Striped marlin maintained its numbers with weights between 100 lbs and 120 lbs on the Sea of Cortez side.
Albermarle 31’ Ram Rod released 6 Striped Marlin a landed 3 yellowfin tuna and 3 Dorado more for the count.
32’ Cabo Express, Picante Express, released 18 Striped marlin and 1 Sailfish, boated 10 Yellowfin tuna and 6 Dorado for dinner, a couple of those were Bull Mahi.








Salsa, the Cabo Express 35’ had 10 Striped Marlin released for the archive plus 17 Yellowfin tunas and 8 Dorado for the archive.
Picante Dream, 35’ Cabo Flybridge, had a very good Marlin month, they released 23 striped Marlin, landed 15 fatty Yellowfin tuna and 4 Dorado, they also released a Sailfish around 50 lb.
Picante Pride, our nice Cabo Express 36’ released 15 Striped marlin and 2 Sailfish, landed 36 Yellowfin tuna and 10 Dorado.







45’ Cabo Express, Picante 45, released 12 Striped Marlin and 1 Blue Marlin, landed a bag of 37 yellowfin tuna, plus 4 more Bull dorado for the plate and the lounge wall.
The Caliente 45, Cabo Express 45’ had a great fishing month with a mixed bag of species. They released 16 Striped marlin, 1 Blue marlin and 1 Sailfish more for the archive, also boated 24 yellowfin tuna and 14 dorado.
