Fishing in Cabo has been pretty good these last few days! Our clients have returned tired of reeling the fish but veeery happy to catch their main target.

Last monday was epic, we had 4 yachts in the water, the Picante 35’ Cabo Express “Salsa” released 1 Striped marlin and 1 dorado, Picante Expresso our Cabo Express 31’ had 1 Striped marlin, 1 dorado and a Wahoo specimen, the fishermen could not believe that in a single day they having caught 3 different species!

On board the Picante 40’ Tollycraft, the anglers were looking for Marlin and they released 3! Plus 2 Dorado that they took with them for a family dinner.

Finally in the Picante Dream the fun was in charge of a 150 lbs shark that was safely released and another Striped marlin for the count. Even in a half day the Picante fleet had 1 Striped Marlin and 6 Mahi aboard Salsa yesterday, so if you are thinking of coming to Cabo for fishing, December is being a great month, and it would also be a great way to close the year.

Cabo is safe to travel on Holidays

To welcome all travelers during this holiday season, Los Cabos has strengthened the destination’s health and safety protocols to ensure the wellbeing of travelers and our community.

With the support and commitment of the hospitality industry, Los Cabos has developed a comprehensive health and safety protocol system called, Los Cabos with Care: A Safer Way to Get Away, a safety protocol system consistent with health authorities and implemented across the destination in partnership with Intertek Cristal, that reinforces hygiene, cleaning, traveler physical distancing, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Los Cabos With Care – A Safer Way To Get Away

For Picante Sportfishing the health and safety of our anglers and crew is our top priority and we have taken steps to ensure prevention of the spread of COVID-19. We got the “Punto Limpio” certification (Clean Point) offered by the federal government of Mexico to strictly adhere to hygiene protocols and thanks to actions like this and streamlined the communication protocols between hotels, suppliers, and local authorities, Los Cabos obtained a “Safe Travels” stamp of approval certified by the World Tourism & Travel Council (WTTC) for recognition of safe travel protocols.

We have the Clean point certification, to ensure a worry-free experience

Also for our clients we have adopted an Special cancellation policy for these Holidays: A full refund if you are unable to travel in case the border is close or flight cancellation due to the pandemic, in addition to being always welcome to reschedule your fishing.

In addition, from November to March we have our most famous Cabo visits, the whales! Which will make your fishing experience even more unforgettable. So there you have one more reason to visit us and enjoy the Marlin bite down here!
