Indeed, we have the best boats, captains, and crew around’shand we go out of our way to create a memorable fishing vacation for each of our clients&mdashbut “luxury fishing” is much more than that it’s about making your trip the best that it can be, and exceeding your expectations. Let us show you a great time on the water, time and time again. Get in touch so we can help you plan your trip today.

Billfishing continues in Cabo San Lucas Mexico and about the only change this past week was the fishing got much, much, better, even as the full moon phase came into play. The fish are concentrated directly out front of the Bay and you start trolling immediately and the fish are biting. It might be a Striped Marlin or if you have lucky you can caught a nice Wahoo. It’s fast action fishing and perfect for light tackle anglers. The inshore fishing, right along the coast, continues to be excellent for sierras and lots of bonitos, too. However, the billfish action is just way too good to pass up the incredible bite that seems to continue throughout the day.

Climate: Fabulous weather! Sunny & warm days with an occasional passing cloud.

Sea Conditions: Excellent throughout the area. Surface breezes are variable directions under 10 mph and the sea temp is holding stable at 76-61 degrees from inshore to offshore.

Best Fishing Area: Cabeza de Ballena starting at about a half-mile away.

Best Bait/Lure: Rigged baits are getting bit in a wide-open fashion and so are live bait fish being slow-trolled. Artificials are doing their fair share of catching too, as the fish are extraordinarily eager as they come into the trolling patterns.

We going to start this report with our boat the Picante Dream a 35ft Flybridge they release 6 Striped Marlin.

Picante Pride our 36ft CABO Express boated 1 Wahoo and 1 Tuna by San Jaime.

Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your time fishing Cabo San Lucas.

About the Fish

There are tons of options as far as species throughout the year. Fishing Cabo San Lucas often includes at least one day focused on Marlin. As the Marlin Capital of the World, Cabo has a reputation as one of the top fisheries for Blue Marlin, Black Marlin and Striped Marlin, as well as other billfish. The opportunity to catch dozens of Marlin has cultivated a large following among anglers, and has made tournaments like the Bisbee’s Black and Blue a popular event each October. Marlin are a top choice for expert anglers, but are accessible to anyone willing to put some muscle into it. Going with a guided charter will allow everyone in your group an opportunity to see what all the excitement is about.

The Dorado is one of Cabo’s most sought after fish, and is excellent all summer long. It&rsquos a great option for all skill levels, and a favorite for many reasons. Their beauty is unparalleled, glowing bright yellow-green. Also known as Mahi-Mahi, which translates to “very strong”, the Dorado has earned a reputation for their power on the line. They are also one of the most commercially fished species, and are a popular eating fish throughout the world.

Yellowfin Tuna are another popular choice, and are abundant in the fall and winter. If you’re out fishing Cabo, you’ll notice that our Yellowfin Tuna can be larger than in other areas. That’s because the waters of Cabo give them plenty of opportunities to feed, making it the perfect environment for growing to a large size. You’ll know you have one on the line when you see their trademark yellow dorsal fin, but be ready to contend with their strength and speed!
