Daily Fishing Report:

Stars & Stripes began in 1997 as a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County. Dick Gebhard wanted to create a fundraiser unlike any other and combine fishing, golfing and music. Since then, the tournament has grown to include seven children’s charities based in Southern California and Mexico.

Today Salsa, Pride, Picante and Picante 45 on this moments they are fighting and working hard to bring back the big prize…Whis our crew a good luck this weekend on this tournamen.

Daily Fishing Report:

Deep sea fishing in Cabo San Lucas by Sea of Cortez side was sensational on this days.

On Monday June 25th our Picante Express 32ft CABO Express with Captain Fernando Rodriguez at the helm caught and released 3 Striped Marlin around 100-130 lbs with caballito bait by 1150 spot. At the same day and in the same area Expresso a 31ft CABO Express with Captain Jesus Beltran and Salsa a 35ft CABO Express with Captain Alex Collins at the helm caught and released 2 Striped Marlin around 100-120 lbs  on each boat.

And the Inshore fishing action still good and our Picantito II 24ft Shamrock with Captain Eliot Andres caught 5 Jack Crevalle with caballito bait by Santa Maria bay.

The  next day Picante Expresso and Salsa found the Tunas with a total of 18 around 20-30 lbs by Cabrillo Seamount with caballito and lure bait.

Yesterday Picante Pride 36ft CABO Express hit the day with a nice Striped Marlin around 140 lbs by Punta Gorda with lure bait.

All our fisherman’s had a good experience and enjoyed the day with the best fishing charters in Cabo San Lucas.

June 25th, 2018 Wahoo fishing in Cabo started biting ……

Daily Fishing Report:

With the blue water on the beach, the surface temperature around 77 degrees fishing in Cabo San Lucas was good the Sriped Marlin, Tunas and Wahoos action has been going strong ever since.

Tuna fishing in Cabo is still strong our Express 31ft CABO Express yesterday caught 4 Tunas  around 15-20 pound and 1 Wahoo around 40 pound by La Herradura with caballito bait.

And the same luck was for our Picante 45 45ft CABO Express they caught 3 Yellowfin Tunas in the same area,  and our clients and their childrens was so happy to get a nice dinner at their hotel.

The Striped Marlin action on Friday was again for our Express 31ft CABO Express they caught and relesed 3 Striped Marlin  around 120 – 140 pounds by Cabeza de Ballena with our friend from Pensilvania.

June 13th – 18th, 2018 Great days for Tuna & Billfish in Cabo

Daily Fishing Report:

Last week there were a couple port closure days due to inclement weather conditions but otherwise a few days after the storm the sportfishing in Cabo San Lucas was fabulous for out shore and deep sea fishing in Cabo.

Our fishing charters are doing great with the billfish and tunas, after the rain our clients on board the Picante 45 CABO Express had a good day they caught 6 tunas good for dinner around 10-15 lbs. They used caballito for bait at La Herradura.

The same day Picantito II 24&rsquoft Shamrock found 4 yellowfin Tunas at about 7 miles from the lighthouse ranged from 5 to 10 lbs each.

The next day we had Expresso 31&rsquoft CABO Express and caught 5 yellowfin tunas ranged from 5-15 lbs by Lighthouse as well.

And finally yesterday our Picante 45 caught and released 1 Striped Marlin around 140 lbs by Destiladera Bank and they used caballito for bait.

The sportfising in Cabo it’s always a box with a tons of surprise……

The tournament season started with the Pelagic Cabo Summer Slam and the next one it’s the Stars and Stripes tournament on June 29 -30th and Picante its going to be present with “Salsa”, “Picante Pride”, “Picante” and “Picante 45” are going to be fighting to bring back the big prize.

The best fishing charters in Cabo this week was our “Picante 45” with captain Erik Chang and the fisrt mate Hugo Guillin with more Striped Marlin caught and relesed in the week with a total of 10 Striped Marlin on Caballito bait by la Destiladora bank from 110 to 140 lbs.

Yesterdas was not the exception and our clients at our 35ft’ CABO Express “Cisco” with Captain Francisco Tamez and the first mate Christian Tadeo was more than happy with the cabo fishing,  they caught 8 yellowfin tuna of about 15-20 lbs on caballito bait at La Herradura.

Today was an extraordinary day for the Picante fishing charter, “Picante Expresso” our 31ft CABO Express with Capitan Jesus “Charro” Beltran and the fisrt mate Daniel Cabanillas caught and relesed 4 Striped Marlin around 100-140 lbs by Desriladera Bank also caught 1 Wahoo around 50 lbs by San Jose area and on our very nice boat “Salsa” a 35’ft CABO Express with Captain Alex Collins and the fisrt mate Saul “Pequeño” caught and released 2 Striped Marlin around 160 lbs with our clients form Texas and we ended the day with our “Picante Dream” a 35’ft  Flybridge they caught a bounch of yellowfin tuna in total they caught 30 Tunas by La Herradura Bank.

In CABO the sportfishing always its good or excellent yesterday was good and our friend Noel Speranza and his friends finished the day with 2 nice Dorados good size for dinner and 1 Striped Marlin released.

And today our new friend Cody White who came with his beautiful family to celebrate his birthday fishing in Cabo Sn Lucas with us at one opf our best fishing charters  “Picante Pride” with Captain Gregorio Liera and the first mate Pedro Orantes caught a very nice Dorado for dinner.

6 Large Sierras, 1 Skipjack caught and one Striped Marlin released trolling lures on the Sea of Cortez side. Long time customer and friend Peter Gelfand charter on our “Picante 29” Blackfin with Captain Ricardo Gonzalez.
