About Picante Sport Fishing Charters

In 1994 during the first day of the Bisbee Black and Blue Marlin Tournament "Team Picante," on their 40' Sportfisher named "Picante," boated a record 993 lb. Pacific Blue Marlin winning a cash prize of $300,000.00 and a brand new 35' Cabo Yacht. The new boat was offered to any team that weighed a fish more than 750 lbs. That year Picante became associated with Cabo Yachts and formed "Picante Sportfishing and Yacht Sales" based in Cabo San Lucas.

16 years later Picante Sportfishing operates  the premier sportfishing fleet in Cabo San Lucas with 18 Cabo Yachts in the fleet. At no other location in the world can a client fish these outstanding yachts with the variety of models offered by Picante Sportfishing. Picante Sportfishing has a winning record over the years in Cabo San Lucas tournaments with total cash winnings of $4,111,879.00 USD. In addition, our charter fleet captains have received the prestigious Billfish Foundation award for most "Striped Marlin Released"  in 9 of our 16 years of existence.
