Daily Fishing Report:

As the warmer water continues to move towards Cabo you just never know what is going to come out of the depths and eat a trolled bait. Mr. Anton and his family chartered the "Picante Dream" and planned on spending the day on the water with Captain Pablo "Palin" Cesena and deckhand David working the cockpit. Never could they have guessed that shortly after baits were in the water that a huge Black Marlin would nail the portside rigger and the battle was on. After 5 1/2 hours in the fighting chair the fish was close to the boat and the deckhand had the leader. As luck would have it the fish lurched and swung it's head and the leader snapped and the fish was gone to fight another day. Great pictures of the fish jumping close to the boat were taken by Mrs. Anton. The crew estimated the fish at 700 lbs. +. Time to break out the big gear boys !!
