You just never know what will be raised into the pattern when the warm water surrounds the Baja peninsula. They are not the boat of the day, but do get Honorable Mention. Our 24' Shamrock "Picantito III" with Captain Francisco at the controls hooked an estimated 600 lb. Blue Marlin about 9:00 am and the battle was on. Mr. Matthews and his family made a valient effort along with help from the Captain but broke the fish off after a 4 hour battle......THAT' S FISHING !!!! Our boat of the day is our fast 29' Blackfin "Picante 29" with Captain Alex Collins at the helm. Mr. Howard and his friends released 2 Pacific Sailfish and boated a Dorado to be enjoyed at a local restaurant.
