I'm constantly amazed at the kind of things that happen in the waters that surround the Baja Peninsula. We have another great story where a father and his son decide to go fishing. Father has never caught a Marlin and it's the sons first trip offshore. Gerald Smith and son Jerry from New Jersey never expected to see a huge Black Marlin take a bait behind our 24' Shamrock "Picantito III" with Capt. Francisco "Kilo" Acevedo at the controls. As battles with Black Marlin always seem to go, the fish went crazy after being hooked, grey hounding all around the boat. They estimated the weight at 425 lbs. +. In addition they boated 2 Dorado for dinner. A day that all will never forget....
